In a recent operation, the DCA seized a substantial amount of illegally stocked medicines, valued at a significant sum, from a premises in Hyderabad's Chandrayangutta area.
The raid, conducted on July 17, 2026, was a result of credible information received by the DCA regarding the unauthorized sale of medicines. During the inspection, officials uncovered a serious breach of regulations. Aslam Bin Salam Bajaber, the individual responsible for the premises, was found to be stocking and selling medicines without the necessary valid drug licence. Among the seized medicines were 11 different types, including antibiotics and other essential drugs. The total value of the medicines amounted to a substantial ₹18,000.
